    Off late, noticing that moderators have lost interest in checking Upcoming Deals section for deals which have become Live!
    Also, repost for the same deal created by Sandhya is still not merged.

    For your kind information, my comment is better categorized at "User Feedback", not "Complaint".

    I think moderators are rewarded/paid to check such things on their own, members are not supposed to spoon-feed them through notifications/requests.
    Flipkart DOTD for March 12/13 wasn't moved to All Hot Deals section even by evening. Do you think efficiency equivalent to a machine is required to check Upcoming Deals section at least once a day even when it is confirmed that Flipkart makes the deal live at max by 12:15PM?

    There was only tittle and a generic link of fk dod. Nothing else. And that kind of upcoming deals are useless. Iinstead of updating that post , I think mod should award me for posting correct deal

    Strange to see such a response from someone from the Moderation team! Giving an impression that even you agree with Divaskiller opinion that if some members have any suggestion/feedback about the forum, they should stay silent and apply for the post of moderator rather than commenting anything in public. Maybe that's why OS will take a long time to become like DD where priority isn't getting credits for FPDs but interaction with like minded people.

    I meant Upcoming Deals section is to post deals for which the store hasn't provided the exact details about the discount/products included, but an idea about the type of deal is made public in advance. Here I disagree with your opinion that it is useless to post the deal in advance as PrimeOS did, as she updated the thread as soon as the deal was actually made live by Flipkart.

    Bro it is nothing like that, actually we mods work our best to find good deals and promote them so that the osians can take best out of those deals. However still we are humans and some deals are missed b y us. And u said that moderators are no longer interested in upcoming deals section, but u can see that there were about 8-9 deals in upcoming deals section yesterday at around 12 am. Out of them, about 4-5 deals which became live were instantly being moved to good deals or hot deals section by us. Homeshop18 deal is still not live and so is the snapdeal 16th march and 17th march deals. We only missed flipkart deal that also by instance. There is no harm in providing feedback on the deals. Infact we want to encourage our users to provide feedback and reviews about the deals and are working to implement that. However we felt a little bit hurt when u said that we people are no longer interested in checking upcoming deals section. We were just trying to make the environment calm by cracking few funny lines but we never wanted to insult you or stop you from providing feedbacks. Keep sharing your valuable feedbacks and suggestions and thoughts with us. Tell us if you still are facing any difficulty :)

    First of all sorry for such a response from our side and about the comment made by Divaskiller we can't do anything as anyone can comment anything( if it is not against our rules).
    and secondly thanks for the feedback. :) We appreciate it.
    Even we want people to indulge in conversations with each other and that's the best way to engage in a community.
    No can change the thinking of someone and if someone has come here only for earning we can't do anything.
    The only motto of our starting this community was to provide members like you the best deals and also indulging them in conversations so that they can meet new people and enjoy their stay on our forum.

    There is no smoke without fire. I had explicitly mentioned the dates(March 12/13) when some deals which had become live in the morning were still showing in Upcoming section even in the late evening. And the problem is more acute with Homeshop superdeals(more often than not they aren't moved to the correct section at the right time). So I don't feel there is anything wrong in making the observation that Upcoming deals section is being ignored a bit in the recent past. Plus admin's intention of helping the OSians in staying updated with the latest+best deals is being overlooked in such cases.

    None can alter other person's opinion, but the issue was that the Moderation team must be extra careful while making any kind of comment as it represents the community's views.
