JUST A TEST : I wanted to see what is better ( hidden entries or open entries by players ) to implement that rule for QF , SF and Finals. So I put myself in the players shoes here and started thinking my strategy. Thoughts going on my mind : I feel Gayle might flop in this match and I wouldn't take him. But on 2nd thoughts I see my opponent has taken him. Now if Gayle clicks and hits a ton , I am gone. So as a precaution cover , I cannot avoid him. But I am still not sure if above is final team of my opponent. In fact I am sure that even my opponent is not sure if above will be his final Team. If my opponent excludes Gayle , I can also afford to remove him. I have 3-4 players in my mind which I will be taking at any cost. Now shall I reveal those players now itself to my opponent or wait. I think I should wait. But what about if I miss entering my Team at the last moment due to any emergency ! I better enter at least a decent Team first and will think later. Still time and I must check weather forecast also at the venues as I don't want my Players game to be washout. Must also consider players Team chances of winning , etc. Conclusion : I really see no harm if players Team is revealed in open. In fact it creates suspense and excitement. Creating/entering Teams in private will eliminate all fun. No one knows what will be the final entry or if final entry has been already posted. And if someone wants to wait till the last moment to see what opponent will be entering and wants to make similar Team , no gaurantee it will make him win. Besides will be too risky as well. Anyway , I will leave the decision to Winners of Round 2. If they want entries to be hidden , we will start that from Round 3 in which entries will have to be sent through pm which we will post within 15 minutes after deadline. Thanks
I won't ever vote for hidden entries. its more of how confident I'm on my players than on what others choose. I don't give a damn if everyone go with Maxwell or Gayle if I believe say Hussey will win for me so hidden or no hidden doesn't makes any difference. On the other hand 75-80% of team by most contestants are similar and doesn't make sense to keep them as secret. Also the deadline makes sure you can have a card in your sleeve if you want something unique. Hidden entries makes contest dull, completely removing aspect of planning strategy and/or bluffing. and lastly I'll again go with my confidence than others superheroes.
I feel hidden would be better options, as opponent cannot change tactics on change of yours. Rest people can vote on and finally democracy will win
Absolutely true. Hidden entries will make the Contest dull. I am open for anything and will go with what the Contestants prefer. Will have a vote from 16 members of Round 3 and will take the call. For 64 or 32 was difficult for us to handle but with 16 , we can manage to check by pm's.

You guys have guts yaar. I will never take a chance like this just in case of net down or power failure. Will enter a Team first and than think of changing at the last moment.
