Alive - Scan & Get 50 Rupee Recharge Campaign
1. Times Internet Limited (“TIL”) provides its service to you subject to the following Terms & Conditions (“T&C”), which may be updated by us from time to time without any notice/ intimation.

2. “You” (the Participant/ User) agree to abide by the T&C’s of this “Alive - Scan & Get 50 Rupee Recharge Campaign” (“Competition”) as set out herein.

3. This Competition is open solely for Indian citizens who are above the age of 18 years, legally competent to participate in this Competition and also have a valid PAN card.

4. Neither the employees of TIL/the Telecom Operator(s) facilitating the Competition, nor the family members or the relatives of employee(s) of TIL /the Telecom Operator(s) facilitating the Competition are eligible to participate in the Competition. Any such entry, even if successful, would be deemed inadmissible for the purpose of this Competition.

5. Winners shall be short listed on the first come first serve basis.

6. Your entering the said Competition shall be deemed as your acceptance of this T&C entirely/completely.

FEATURES OF THE COMPETITION

• The Competition is titled as “Alive - Scan & Get 50 Rupee Recharge Campaign” and would be accessible by scanning a 50 rupees Indian currency note with Alive app.
• Campaign will be valid for users within the territory of India.
• The Competition is for a limited period and will run from 12th September, 2014 to 30th September, 2014 from 6AM to 6PM This Competition can be extendable at sole discretion of TIL.
• Participants/Users can enter into this Competition by going to a WAP page (which will be accessible with ALIVE app)
• User will scan the 50 rupee Indian currency note by using Alive app and subsequently a WAP page will open up asking the User to enter his personal details [Name, Email, Mobile Number, Operator (optional), Prepaid/postpaid (optional) etc.].
• Participant/User will be given a choice to start participating into this Competition and to access the T&C of this Competition.
• Winners shall be short listed everyhour on First Come First Serve Basis (as per available TIL logs) The same will be confirmed within stipulated time period
• One Mobile Number will be able to participate only once during the entire Competition.
• Campaign will be applicable for Indian prepaid Mobile users only. Nothing withstanding anything stated/contain under this Competition shall not restrain TIL against any recharge or guarantee of 100% top ups/part payments. For such recharge the respective Telecom Operator(s)/DoT/TRAI/other statutory authorities’ applicable terms and conditions shall be apply. Moreover, value of recharge/part payment/recharge TalkTime Value/Validity might vary one Telecom Operator to other /circle to circle, in other words same denomination might not be available in each Telecom Operator or circle wise.
• Ported Mobile Number (MNP cases) can’t be recharged online. Apart from MNP other numbers which are restricted by the respective Telecom Operator(s)/DoT/TRAI/other statutory authorities can’t be recharged.
• Entries received beyond the validity/timeline of this competition shall not be considered.
• All other Participant/User will get Café Coffee Day Deal Coupons via email or SMS. To redeem the said Café Coffee Day Deal Coupon User needs to show the offer code at the counter while placing the order. Café Coffee Day Deal Coupon is valid on amount exclusive of taxes and shall be valid only on Food & Beverage offered by Café Coffee Day. This Offer cannot be redeemed against transaction which is at a discounted price, combos deals or any other promotional offer. Offer is valid at all Café Coffee Day Outlets except Corporate & Discounted Cafes, The Lounge and The Square and shall be valid only till 30th September 2014.
• TIL shall not be responsible/liable from any disowner of Café Coffee Day Deal Coupons offer code by Café Coffee Day. User agreed and acknowledges to resolving any such dispute directly with Café Coffee Day
• There will be a Bumper Prize (24 carat 8gram gold Coin) which will be given to Users/Participant who will be have the maximum number of points by scanning Alive enabled images/articles during the validity of this Competition.
• Each scan will be equal to 10 points.

7. By participating in this Competition, you understand that, winner selection and gratification disbursement process will be taken care by TIL under this Competition.

8. The User/Participant who is eligible for the gratification will be informed through SMS, Call, E-mail on participating mobile number or email id. Eligible User/Participant need to comply with overall T&C. If your mobile number is changed due to any reasons then you would forfeit your chance of winning a prize/gratification.

9. The gratifications shall be given to the winner(s) subject to all applicable statutory deductions and taxes.

10. TIL expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Neither does TIL make any warranty that the Items / products will meet your requirements, or the delivery of the Item/product will be timely, secure, nor is TIL responsible for sub-standard quality or any defects of any nature in the items/ product(s) supplied by manufacturers/ suppliers/ importers/ producers/ sponsors, including any damages done in transit. Any claim in respect of any product/ item is a subject matter of the product manufacturer / supplier / importer / producer / sponsor and all enquiries for warranty/ defect related claims must be processed through the respective channel. Disputes pertaining to these issues will be directly settled between the User and the respective channel.

11. TIL will in no event be liable for any damages - direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential arising out of this Competition or use of the gratifications given through the Competition.

12. Participant conformance to take part in the said Competition shall be deemed as your acceptance all the T&C’s.

13. Applicable government taxes on gratifications as applicable, will be borne by the Winner/User and all deductions (such as TDS), wherever applicable, shall be borne by the winner/users in accordance with section 194 B of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

14. TIL reserves the rights to terminate / suspend the Competition at any time and/or change, modify, withdraw, or extend the Competition without any prior notice and no correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.

15. TIL reserves the right to withdraw / change / modify the content and/or the T&C at its own discretion and without any prior notice and / or assigning any reason. Therefore, you are advised to regularly check for any amendment(s) or update(s) to the T&C.

16. There is no cash alternative to any prize.

17. All the gratifications shall be subject to such other terms and conditions as may be applicable to specific gratifications and shall have to be duly complied with by the winner/ User.

19. The prizes/gratifications to the winner/User shall be given subject to (a) the compliance with all applicable statutory legislations / processes / formalities in connection with the gratification(s); (b) on payment of all relevant government / statutory taxes / levies; (c) revenue getting realized without any defaults from user basis usage of services; (d) on production all such documents / papers as required by TIL before accepting the delivery of the gratifications (such as PAN CARD); and (e) complying with all relevant T&C of TIL. Any failure on the part of the user to comply with directions issued by TIL, or in the event of any ambiguity / uncertainty / unavailability of the user, TIL, in its own discretion will be entitled to cancel the gratification(s) for the said user(s).

20. TIL reserves the right to disqualify a Participant if it has a reasonable ground to believe or suspect that such the Participant has breached any of these terms and conditions.

21. TIL OR IT’S DIRECTORS / OFFICERS/ AFFILIATED / GROUP COMPANIES WILL IN NO WAY BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND ITS CONTROL, WHICH HINDER THE COMPLETION OF THE COMPETITION.

22. By submitting your mobile no, you agree to receive the messages from TIL, irrespective of your registration on do not call (“DNC”) with any authority.

23. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at New Delhi
