UPDATES to our Mega IPL Contest to Win Prizes worth over Rs.50,000

This is what was posted before start of the IPL.

Dear Community Members ,

IPL Season is just about to kick off and we proudly present our MEGA IPL Contest for your added excitement & entertainment to tag along with ongoing thrills and chills of 50 days of non stop Cricket where you can also Win some major chunk of over Rs.50,000 worth of prizes. We want more and more Community members to Win so instead of keeping some few expensive prizes for limited number of Winners , we have concentrated on quantity of prizes and many different ways to Win them. Needless to mention some Big prizes will be also there for the taking. We have over 100 8GB/16GB Pen Drives , Mobile Phones , Shopping Gift Vouchers , Mobile Recharges , Exclusive OS T Shirts , etc in our prizes.





As mentioned , there are many different ways to win them and to make it exciting , we have lined up different types of Contests where you can try your skills at. They are as below :

1) Predict the Winner
You have to predict the Winner for each match for the entire IPL. This contest is divided into three sections:-

Section-1 (First 10 Matches)= Correct answer will fetch you 1 point
Entries accepted till:- 3rd April 6 PM

Section-2 (Next 30 Matches) = Correct answer will fetch you 2 points
Entries accepted till:- 11th April 2 PM

Section-3 (Next 32 Matches) = Correct answer will fetch you 3 points

Rules:-
In case of tie in points, person who entered first in this Competition will be higher in rank.

2) Guess the Answers
We will be combining 1-3 matches in one round where some general questions will be asked related to the match like Man of the match , Sixes , Wickets , etc and you need to guess the correct answers. One correct answer will get you 1 point and Winner for each round will get 1 8GB/16GB Pendrive. One/Two matches round winner will get 8GB Pendrive and Three matches round winner will get 16GB Pendrive. All Rounds will be posted here few days in advance.

Daily atleast one 8 GB or 16 GB Pendrive up for grab in this contest.

3) Rapid Fire
During the course of the tournament , we will be conducting Rapid Fire Contest from time to time ( total 10 days ) asking questions related with IPL. Time of the latest rapid fire will be announced here 1-2 days in advance. 10 questions will be asked on a day. First person to answer correctly gets 10 points. Winner of the day gets 8GB Pendrive ( In case of Tie , we will keep on asking questions till we get a Winner ).
All the points of the Rapid fire for all days will keep on accumulating and Member getting maximum number of points for the entire season gets Prizes.

4) Find the Player
On certain days , we will hide picture of a player somewhere in our Community and you will need to find the player. Hints will be given as the time progresses. Date and time will be posted here 1-2 days in advance before this goes live. Member who finds the player first Wins 8GB Pendrive or OS exclusive T Shirt. Prize for the day will be posted as well.


5) Team Play
Only for members having at least 25 posts in OS Community at the moment.
There will be threads created for all the 9 IPL Teams. You can join any one team of your choice before the start of the Tournament. The Team which wins the IPL also wins here in our OS Community Prize for the Team will be Rs.3000 which will be divided among all the members ( Not equally but ratio will be determined by us which will depend upon your participation in the community during the IPL. No questions will be entertained on our decision but all members of the winning Team will get some share ). 6) Deals in A
IPL gonna keep most of us busy but not forgetting the main motto of our Community , we would also like to reward the member who gets maximum number of A deals during the entire IPL season ( 3rd April to 26th May ). I request Members not to push us for promoting their deals. Though we don't want but It may happen that many deserving deals might get missed from time to time. I will appreciate the members to take that in good spirits and not create any arguments. Our decision will be final in all respects. Thanks

Notes:-
1)For participating in any contest, you must like our facebook page:-http://facebook.com/onlinesasta . In case you participate without liking our facebook page and win the prize then person next in rank who have liked our facebook page will get the prize. So like once and get yourself enrolled for all the contests for entire IPL season. We will ask about your facebook profile only if you wins the contest.
2) All Prizes will be sent within few days after the end of IPL.
3) For all Prizes of GV's , you can give us a choice of 4-5 E-GV's and we will give you one between your choice.
4) OS Administration Team decision will be final for any disputes related to any matters arising from this Contest.
5) All Contests are open to all except Team Play which requires minimum 25 Posts in OS Community at this moment.
6) Please do not create multiple ids to take part in any of the Contests.

1) As all are aware , due to hacking by bad elements last month we are forced to remove Part 1 : Predict the Winner now. In lieu of that , will create some other kind of Predicting Contests like 2 posted today ( 500th SIX and Next Centurian ) to keep you going.

2) Part 2 Guess the Answers , Part 3 Rapid Fire and Part 5 Team Play are very much on.

3) Part 4 Find The Player is very much on but in a different style. 1st game of Find the player was played earlier. 2nd round will take place on 7th May at 4pm :

4) Part 6 Deals in A. Is very much on but forced to change the period of time. Will think and discuss about it with my fellow Admin and update soon. Prizes declared will be honoured for sure.


5) Team Play : All members who joined their Fav Teams before the start of the IPL can rejoin their respective Teams again and start cheering. Even if they miss to join again , they will be part of the Prize winnings if their Team lifts the Trophy this year but joining , cheering for your Team and being active in the community will increase your prize share.
